Bristol becomes Englands first cycle Demonstration City

Bristol and the urban area of South Gloucestershire have been selected as the nation's standard bearer to promote cycling.

After a competitive selection process involving other towns and cities, Urban Bristol's success means it will receive £11.4m over three years from the government for cycling inititives.
