Advice to local authorities on the implementation of National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidance

Published: Fri, 07 Sep 2007 15:05:38

Using the NICE Guidance to Promote Health and Wellbeing- for people working with local communities.

Following the workshop on 21st June 2007 and subsequent feedback, NICE have now made available copies of the finalised leaflet for local authorities. Hope you will be able to distribute it within your organisations and partnerships, and please let us know if you have any suggestions for national dissemination.

Thank you for your time taken out of your diaries to participate in this project, which we believe will effectively highlight the potential contribution of NICE guidance for those who work with local communities to promote health and wellbeing.

To order additional copies of the leaflets, at no cost to you, please contact 0870 155 5455 and quote leaflet number: N1330. The front page of the NICE website has a place for ordering these publications, a link to the site is below.

If you have any further comments or questions please contact Val Moore, Implementation Consultant on val.moore@nice.org.uk or telephone Liza-Marie Turner on 0161 209 3881.
