However, you may want to change text and background colours to a high contrast, or choose an alternative colour for links.
If you are using Internet Explorer on a PC, choose Internet Options from the Tools menu at the top of the screen. On the General tab of the window that appears, click on the Accessibility button. This then takes you to a menu where you can choose to ignore the colours specified on web pages. Return to the Internet Options window and use the Colors button to set your preferences.

If you are using Netscape Navigator, go to the Edit menu, select Preferences, open the Appearance menu and select Colors.
